Circuit des platanes à Perpignan // Challenge d’endurance de 8 heures
Il s’agit d’une première course d’endurance de 8 heures avec des voitures 100% électriques sur un circuit urbain fermé, dans la tradition de la Formule E.
Cet événement aura lieu dans le cadre d’un grand festival de mobilité électrique : « Roue Libre », né en 2022, organisé par l’Automobile Club du Roussillon et la Ville de Perpignan.
Les pilotes vont découvrir le circuit historique des Platanes, qui offre un défi de taille.
D’un longueur 2540 m, accueillera l’ECO GRAND PRIX DU ROUSSILLON le 28 et 29 mai 2023 (dimanche et lundi de Pentecôte).
Vous êtes invités à participer au festival, dès le samedi 27 mai 2023. La circulation sera interrompue pendant l’événement.
Pour dominer le challenge, les équipes devront gérer leurs ressources en énergie, avec une limite de charge de 11 kW.
Les fans pourront assister à cet événement inoubliable qui combine endurance et dernières technologies en mobilité électrique.
Voici les détails pour participer:
- Disposer d’une voiture 100% électrique
- Avoir minimum 1 pilotes dans votre équipe
- Permis de conduire de type B
- Un casque par equipe
- Réunion préparatoire des pilotes le 28 mai à 16h00
- Vérification des voitures et alignement pour le départ : le 28 mai à 18h00
- START de la 1ere manche (durée 5 heures): le 28 mai à 19h00
- START de la 2ème manche (durée 3 heures): le 29 mai à 05h00
- Les participants inscrits à l’ensemble des courses de la saison européenne peuvent choisir un numéro de départ
- Chaque véhicule participe dans sa propre catégorie (convertible, prototype, Tesla, Renault, Peugeot, …).
Le but est de faire un maximum de tours pendant le challenge de 8h.

Les frais de participation s’élèvent à 350 EUR par véhicule, pour 2 pilotes.
Chaque pilote supplémentaire acquittera des frais de 25 EUR.

Electric rebirth 2023 /// Circuit des Platanes Perpignan

Excitement is building for the upcoming event in Perpignan, FRANCE, which will feature a first ever 8-hours endurance challenge with pure electric cars on a closed city circuit in Formula E manner.
The challenge will be part of a major e-mobility festival, “Roue Libre”, led by the Automobile Club du Roussillon and the City of Perpignan, where all drivers will discover the historical Circuit des Platanes.
It has a length of 2540 m and the ecoGP is set to take place on May 28 and 29, 2023 (Sunday evening and Monday morning).
Welcome to join the entire festival starting on Saturday, May 27.
The traffic will be stopped during the event.
With a charging limit of 11 kW or 22 kW (to be confirmed), teams will need to carefully manage their resources to stay ahead of the competition. Fans can look forward to an unforgettable event that combines endurance with the latest in e-mobility technology.
To participate, please follow these requirements and details:
- Drive a purely electric car
- Minimum 1 driver in your team
- Type B driving license
- One helmet per team
- Briefing of the drivers: May 28 at 4:00pm
- Check of the cars and alignment for start : May 28 at 6:00pm
- START: May 28 at 7:00pm to 00:00 (5 hours) and it will continue on May 29 from 5:00am to 8:00am (the last 3 hours);
- Anyone who competes in all races for the entire season can choose a starting number
- Each vehicle competes in its own class (converted, prototype, formula, Tesla, Renault, Peugeot, …).
The aim is to make as many laps as possible in 8 hours.

Participation fee is of EUR 350 including all taxes for 2 drivers. For each additional driver, there is an extra EUR 25 fee.

GENERAL RULES
Only electric vehicles are allowed to start. They have to be homologated for driving on public roads in the country of competition, having valid papers, insurance and car plates with the permit for driving on public roads and highways.
Every car type sets it’s record on a racetrack to be beaten by the same car type. Every driver who intends to start in more than one race has to announce it before starting his first race.
All drivers of a winning team will get the same points. The points of all races in one season are added. The ecoGP series winners are the ones who have collected the most points after the last race of the season.
Every competition is having slightly different rules, please visit the dedicated competition pages to download the specific rules.
Points are also distributed to the manufacturers of the cars, so driving any Tesla model will give points to Tesla, same for BMW, Porsche, Kia or any other brand. The manufacturer with the most points will get the trophy handed over officially after the last race of the season.
Starting with the 2022 season, converted cars are allowed to participate in the converted EV class.
