Bucharest Super Slalom – powered by ecoGP

Enjoy the power of your electric car in a competition. Together with Auto Club Sportiv (https://cnss.gtautoclub.ro/) we organize two electric car challenges.

This time, the Super Slalom powered by ecoGP will be a pure electric car competition not mixed with gas cars so that the waiting time between the 3 stints will be minimized. Helmet is obligatory, driver age 18 years minimum. You will have one training stint and two fast driving stints where the fastest stint of the two race stints will be counted.

The 24h endurance challenge
One team with recommended 4 drivers will drive on a defined track for 24h. Unlimited charge stops are allowed. Max allowed charging speed 11kW. Shared 16A three phase sockets will be available. Every team is allowed to bring its own charging equipment. Co-driver or guests are allowed to drive in the car together with the pilot. Driver changes are allowed as many as wanted.

To participate, every driver needs the DMSB License C or a corresponding License of the national Motorsport Associations like FRAS.

More information will follow soon.

GENERAL RULES

Only electric vehicles are allowed to start. They have to be homologated for driving on public roads in the country of competition, having valid papers, insurance and car plates with the permit on driving on public roads and highways.

Every car type sets its record on a racetrack to be beaten by the same car type. Every driver who intends to start in more than one race has to announce it before starting his first race.

All drivers of a winning team will get the same points. The points of all races in one season are added. The ecoGP series winners are the ones who have collected the most points after the last race of the season.

Every competition is having slightly different rules, please visit the dedicated competition pages to download the specific rules.

Points are also distributed to the manufacturers of the cars, so driving any Tesla model will give points to Tesla, same for BMW, Porsche, Kia or any other brand. The manufacturer with most points will get the trophy handed over officially after the last race of the season.

Starting with the 2022 season, converted cars are allowed to participate in the converted EV class.
